As a researcher, being able to pitch yourself and your work becomes ever more important for your academic career. For example, NWO or ERC grants require you to pitch your work in front of a panel. While you might be pretty experienced in giving lectures and presenting your research at conferences, pitching in front of a panel requires a different strategy and a different set of skills. Even though the thought of pitching might seem daunting to you now, the good news is that it is something that you can learn.
During the training we will focus on form, personal delivery and content of the pitch. The workshops are highly interactive: you will formulate your personal learning goals and practice regularly during the workshop.
